Bachman-Turner Overdrive had a huge hit with this tune in 1973. Randy Bachman recorded one version making fun of his brother – who stuttered and stammered. Turns out, the studio liked the “stuttering” recording better than the original. Seems kinda cruel to me, but what do I know? The best ever version was done by Burton Cummings – jazz style.
